Email With the building of Rock Creek’s new home came new job openings. Kelli Carter stepped in to manage the new bookstore that sell not only books, but music, gifts, greeting cards, DVD’s, and other various items. You will also find Kelli often helping out in the café making your favorite Starbucks drink or fixing sandwiches. When asked about her job, she says, “I love my job because of the people! I love being with people. When I’m helping someone in the bookstore, most of the time they will open up to me about what they are looking for and why. I spend time with that person looking for the perfect thing and the next thing you know, a friendship has been made.” Kelli grew up in Cabot and graduated from Cabot High in 1986. She and her husband, Tim, have been married for 13 years. They have a 12 year old daughter, Kalen. Tim and Kelli co-lead a small group and enjoy the relationships they’ve developed. Tim also volunteers on the Tech Team during worship services. Kelli, Tim and Kalen all have a huge heart for animals. They have a greyhound named Maggie who was adopted from the West Memphis Greyhound Track. Kalen has a solid black Shihtzu named Max. They also have two adopted cats named Muffin and Charlie, a hamster named Lullubell and a 144 gallon salt water tank full of fish. In her spare time, Kelly likes to read, listen to music and be at the lake or beach. |
