This baseball diamond represents a process for moving people from idle spectators to active participants in life. People are interested in living a life that counts.

In the Rock Creek's Life Development Process people are led to deeper levels of  understanding and commitment that will enable them to discover and experience a fulfilling and meaningful life of purpose. God never created anything without a purpose. The four Life Development Classes are intended to help you begin the life long process of following Jesus Christ and living out His purpose in your life.

The magnification of Jesus Christ will take place in our community as we move through this process together and continue to pursue our mission of "taking Jesus as He is to people as they are".

LIFE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

The four Life Development Classes are intended to help you begin the life long process of following Jesus Christ and living out His purpose in your life.

First Base: Rookie Class

Ready to get in the game? Rookie Class is the place to get started!  Learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Discover how knowing Christ personally can transform your life. Uncover the many benefits of belonging to a church family.

Rock Creek’s founder and senior pastor, Mark Evans, meets with this two-hour class and tells the story of Rock Creek: where we’ve been, where we’re going, and why we do church the way we do.  At the conclusion of the class, you’ll have the opportunity to join the church.  Participation in this class is required for membership.

Second Base: Spring Training Class

Advance from first base to second with our Spring Training Class.  This class meets for two hours with teaching pastor Greg Kirksey, and is designed to help you continue growing in your relationship with Christ; develop habits that will lead you toward spiritual maturity; and explore proven methods to integrate spirituality into your everyday life. Spring Training is a requirement for leadership in the church.

Third Base: All Stars Class

Build upon the skills you’ve acquired in Spring Training by discovering your unique design and gifting in our All Stars Class.  In this advanced curriculum, you will uncover your giftedness by examining your life. Find the pattern of behavior that brings you the greatest fulfillment and discover the activities that energize and motivate you.

Our All-Stars Class is designed to help you identify the areas of gifting in your life that you most enjoy. At the end of the class, we’ll help to match you with a corresponding ministry opportunity at Rock Creek that highlights your God-given gifts.

Hall of Fame

Tag home plate in this final class of our Life Development Process.  The Hall of Fame class is led by Rock Creek's Missions Pastor Mike Grober. Discover your personal mission in the world. Tell your story about the impact of Christ in your life. Learn how to be effective in sharing God’s love with others.

The Hall of Fame class will lead you toward the most thrilling experience you can have in life: fulfilling your purpose by welcoming others to the team!
