FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.  How did Rock Creek begin?

In November of 1995, Mark Evans moved back home to Little Rock to start a church for the un-churched.  Understanding that many people don't go to church because it is boring and irrelevant, Mark began The Church at Rock Creek with 25 people. Believing that people really do matter to God, The Church at Rock Creek has grown from 25 to over 5000 people attending the weekend services. Rock Creek is a place where people from all walks of life fit in and find opportunities to grow. The church's primary purpose is people... to meet the needs of people and to show them how to establish and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

2.  What does Rock Creek believe?

Even though Rock Creek is non-traditional in style, we are deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Bible. Our vision is to take Jesus as He is to people as they are. Click here to learn in depth what Rock Creek believes.

3.  Where is Rock Creek?

We are located on 36th street between Shackleford and  Bowman.  Our address is 11500 West 36th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.  [Directions]

4.  What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in. Break free from traditional church and come enjoy Rock Creek’s casual atmosphere. People wear everything from business casual to shorts and sandals. Feel free to leave the tie or high heel shoes at home. It’s okay.

5.  What about my children?

While you are enjoying an exciting worship service, your children are being well cared for in a safe and clean age-appropriate environment. We have classes for infants through fifth grade during each of our worship services.  Learn more about how it's fun to be a Rock Creek Kid.

If your child is in sixth grade, we have a special event called Trek6 which happens on Sunday mornings during the second worship service.  Learn more about Trek6.

6.  What do you have for junior high and high school students?

Our students are a top priority at Rock Creek. We have more than you can imagine. Learn more about our Student Ministry.  If you have questions, email our Student Ministry Pastor, Jason Curry.

7.  Are all the weekend services the same?

Beginning March 9 we will have four weekend worship services. All four services are the same topic, however, the Monday night service features an open "question & answer" time for the audience to ask the speaker about the message topic.

8.  Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything or be singled out in any way?

If you are visiting, we won't ask you to give a dime. We don't make you wear a visitor badge or stand up and stand out like a sore thumb. We want you to remain as anonymous as you want to, but we encourage you to visit our church over several weeks to see what's going on at Rock Creek.

9.  How do I join Rock Creek?

If you would like to join Rock Creek, we invite you to begin the Life Development Process where four classes are offered. The first class is our Rookie Class and is taught by founding pastor, Mark Evans. He tells the Rock Creek story and you will find out where we've been, where we are going and why we do the things we do at Rock Creek. At the conclusion of the class, you get the opportunity to join the church. Call us at 225-8684 to find out when the next class is.

We proudly serve Starbucks! Whether you're craving a simple cup of coffee, a Caramel Macchiato, or an Iced White Chocolate Mocha, we've got you covered. We also have food, books, music and gifts.

Stop by to relax and surf the net using our free wireless internet access. Gift cards available.
